Let’s connect: I can help you
have your work cake, and time to eat it too.
I’m on a mission to make this unique mix a reality for everyone working today who has high standards for their work performance and also realizes that they want fulfillment and personal well-being too.
I’m here to help you make it happen.
I’m Stephanie Woodward,
Founder of Agency to Change
I used to think great leaders were born, not made but I’m convinced now that we each have the ability to build the skills and practices to lead in optimal ways. But it takes deep self-awareness, commitment, desire, and conscious effort to make it happen.
Whether it’s my one-on-one work with C-suite and senior executive leaders or group programs and coaching with teams, it’s important to me that everyone feels seen, encouraged, and supported, and gains the confidence to pursue new ideas and think in ways they never imagined could be possible.

Here’s what my clients have to say about working together …
“I’m delighted to share my positive experience with Stephanie, who recently led a resilience-focused session for Xero’s sales teams. Stephanie’s facilitation style was both insightful and engaging, leaving a lasting impression on all of us.
Stephanie’s expertise in the area of resilience was evident throughout the session. She masterfully guided us through strategies to enhance our ability to handle challenges and maintain our well-being. Her down-to-earth approach made the content relatable and easy to grasp, ensuring that everyone could benefit, regardless of their familiarity with the topic.
What stood out most about Stephanie was her personable and approachable nature. She created a comfortable environment where participants felt encouraged to share their thoughts and experiences. Her genuine interest in our well-being and growth was evident in the way she tailored her responses to address our specific questions and concerns. Stephanie’s session has undoubtedly left a positive impact on our sales teams. We gained practical insights and techniques that can be applied not only in our professional roles but also in our daily lives. Stephanie’s guidance will undoubtedly contribute to our team’s overall resilience and success moving forward.”

Why I started Agency to Change
I wanted to be able to choose to work with people leaders who care about….people. Leaders who are paying attention to people and profits; results and relationships.
I love to work with leaders and teams that truly care about the work they do, and have ambition and interest in their work identity, and who also understand that work is just one part of a larger life equation.
I’ve also struggled with this gap—I’ve had some difficult moments dealing with overworking and burnout. Once I found my way to leading from a place of well-being while still leading my team to achieve our goals, I knew I wanted to make this a possibility for others. We spend so much of our life at work and if our work environment ignores our larger life equation, it has a ripple effect that impacts every other aspect of our lives. It’s working with great leaders to create meaningful work experiences for their teams that has me excited to show up every day. (Perhaps corny, but true.)
There are lots of coaches and leadership development practitioners who focus on results and accountability, and certainly lots of coaches who focus on interpersonal team dynamics. But there aren’t a lot of us who work on both sides of this equation. I like being able to fill that gap.
I’ve done my homework …
I’ve read the research and know the data backs me up: we need to care about people and performance at work.
I’ve also completed training and certifications to ensure that my programs and coaching provide you with a great experience and the results you need, including:
+ Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC)
+ Certified Personal Resiliency Practitioner (Resilience Alliance)
+ Certified Team Synergy Practitioner (Resilience Alliance)
+ CMHA Certified Psychological Health and Safety Advisor
+ The Leadership Circle Profile 360 Assessment
+ Accredited Practitioner, iEQ9 Integrative Enneagram Solutions
+ Accredited Practitioner, Enneagram Compass, CPEnneagram
I have a Master’s of Science (MSc) from Boston University and a B.A. (Hons) from Western University.

My first book, The Big Scale Back, was a blend of my personal life with my professional training—I wanted to share my experiences with burnout recovery, with a framework for anyone in a similar situation who wants ideas for how to create a new sense of balance in their lives, without giving up on their goals and dreams of success.
I’ve been thrilled with the reaction to this book and grateful to everyone who has read it and shared their comments and stories with me.
Writing for my second book is well underway, this time with a focus on how conscious productivity can work in teams. After all, many of us work in a team-based environment, and it can feel impossible to achieve a level of satisfaction, fulfillment, and well-being in a corporate, “24/7 always on” environment. Especially when you are dependent on others to manage workload, share accountabilities, and deliver excellence.
This second book focused on teams will be published in the fall of 2023. To get updates when it’s published, drop your email below and I’ll keep you posted. (and thanks!)
When I’m not working …
You can find me up north, spending as much time as I can in nature. Being near the trees or in the lake helps me think, relax, unwind, write, breathe, dream, you name it!
A few years ago, I realized I no longer had any hobbies. So I decided to change that. Now you can find me knitting (first sweater underway!), doing puzzles, stitching, doing pilates … I’m continuing to try new things to add to this list.
I also read a ton—some of my clients tell me they don’t have time to read leadership books so I make sure to keep them updated and incorporate key insights into our conversations.
But enough about me,
let’s talk about you!
If you’re looking to approach work in new ways—ways that support excellent results, and proactively address well-being so that you and your team can avoid burnout cycles —I’d love to connect. Let’s figure out how to make this happen for you and your team.
